Senior Manager of Partner Development brings insurance and partnership experience to head Slice operations.

NEW YORK -- Slice Labs Inc., an insurtech startup set to launch the world’s first on-demand insurance platform to support the on-demand economy, today announced that Dawid Glawdzin has joined Slice as Director of Operations.

Glawdzin’s latest role was at Google as a key member of the Google insurance program, where he worked within the insurance price comparison space across various territories to recruit major markets and partners for Google’s auto insurance initiative. He managed negotiations amongst crucial partners including carriers, large national insurance agencies and other providers. Glawdzin solely managed all partnerships once product was live. He also spent time at Google working across other product verticals on requirements, product design, quality control, security control, legal and compliance.

“We’re thrilled to have a key member of Google’s insurance team joining Slice. Dawid’s tremendous partnership and development expertise will help shape Slice’s expansion plans,” said Tim Attia, CEO at Slice.

I have worked with the founders of Slice in the past and have much respect for their achievements to date. I am thrilled and honored to join the Slice team. Together we shall shape the future of the on-demand world,” said Glawdzin.

Slice is backed by Horizons Ventures and XL Innovate, and is headquartered in New York City. Slice is currently licensed to conduct business in 42 states with licensing in process for all other U.S. states.
