Partners, Slice and Digital Partners recognized for “bridging the gap” at the 3rd Annual ITA Pro conference
NEW YORK -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Slice Labs Inc., a technology startup with on-demand insurance products to support the on-demand economy, and Digital Partners, a Munich Re company, have won the Insurance Technology Association’s Bridge Award. The Bridge Award is given annually by the ITA to honor an insurance carrier that has demonstrated an ability to "bridge the gap" between technology and business operations. This award is being presented to both Slice and Digital Partners for their work together in bringing the startup to market.
“The Bridge Award recognizes the importance of data as the link between the business operation and technology, and the role each of our organizations played to gather and utilize data to successfully offer consumers a new insurance solution,” said Andy Rear, Chief Executive, Digital Partners. ”We are ‘bridging the gap’ with Slice to develop new approaches and new solutions in the evolving insurance market”.
“We’re honored to receive the Bridge Award. We have worked hard with Digital Partners to have a seamless integration between IT and business units and we’re happy to be recognized for those efforts. In the digital insurance world, IT and underwriting must essentially be one unit; Digital Partners understands this and has done the a fantastic job establishing the new model,” said Tim Attia, CEO and co-founder of Slice.
Slice congratulates Erie Insurance for also receiving the Bridge Award.
